This necklace combines 925 sterling silver, oxidised silver and Goldfilled. The three materials alternate throughout the entire design, with each element finished with a light hammer stroke. Hammering is a finishing technique carried out entirely by hand, making each piece unique. A movable silver band is placed over a number of links, giving the design a playful character. This necklace is part of the Touch of Gold collection by Jéh Jewels, a Dutch jewellery brand founded in 1991. Oxidised silver may fade over time; this is a surface treatment and a well-known characteristic of this material.
